The Democratic Party has promoted Civil Rights, Health Care Reform, Social Security Benefits, Worker's Rights, and Women's Rights.  The party began over 200 years ago and is a strong supporter in the rights of citizens.   The next 200 years will see more emphasis on protecting our citizens and their rights.
